Filmography of Edgar Wright

I think many have long been familiar with the work of this charming British. But, if anyone is not in the subject, this is a director (by the way, my favorite director), screenwriter, producer, a fan of ice cream, and sometimes the actor. 1. "Dead Right"

Edgar began his way as a director with participation in the creation of two British series – "French and Saunders" And "Murder Most Horrid", But, since we ignore the series, we will consider a short film debut "Dead Right". This is a police comedy, according to Wright himself, in spirit is very close to the future "Hot Fuzz", except more comic.

It was a simplified version of “Hot Fuzz”, in which the main roles, instead of stars, went to my friends in school. There are many parallels between these films.

So, “Dead Right”: depending on this film you will not notice either adequate characters, nor the general sanity of what is happening, no fourth wall, nor, in the end, forty minutes of timing. Watch? – Perhaps you ask. Watch if you are at least a little familiar with Wright’s work – I will answer.

For a debut – more than good. 7 out of 10. We are going on!

2. "Afistful of finners" (Finger handful)

The second directorial work of Edgar Wright is the already full -length tape “A Fistful of Fingers”.

This is a parody of classic westerns, mainly on the "dollar" trilogy from Sergio Leone.

This is the first film that shows the viewer the incomparable duet of the British Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in the main roles. Mandatory for everyone. Right now, if possible! If you do not believe me, trust Tarantino – he added this film to the twenty of his loved ones. Briefly about the plot: the extremely lazy and phlegmatic seller-consultant Sean is trying to again come down with his lover and save his loved ones from the suddenly beginning epidemic. 5. "Hot Fuzz" (such as cool cops)

So we got to, according to the majority, the best film Edgar Wright and the best comedy in the world. This is a wonderful comedic action movie containing tons of beautiful humor for completely different layers of the audience and good action scenes. And this film is all the more required to watch. Right now! Things will wait! I don’t know if he will become your favorite comedy, or, as for me, your favorite film, but I’m sure you will like it. 6. "Grindhouse" (Graindhouse)

8. “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World "(Scott Pilgrim against everyone)
Film adaptation of 6 volumes of comic book Brian Lee O’Mall. The most direct and literary adaptation of the comic book. There are all things typical for the average comic book.

The film tells us about Canadian Scott Pilgrim, who meets with the schoolgirl. The film tells us about this in the first 5 minutes of timing. Soon he meets the girl of his dreams – Ramon Flawers, but, to his misfortune, everything is far from easy with the girl. To start meeting with her, he has to defeat her seven evil former.
The film is ideal for watching a girl. Or with girls.

9. “The Adventures of Tintin” (Tintin’s Adventures: The Secret of Unicorn)
Wright took part in writing a script for this cartoon. Cartoon, by the way, beautiful. Well, still, all the same director – Stephen Spielberg.
Indiana Jones in a full -length cartoon format. 7 out of 10. Go to the final "Cornetto Trilogy"!

10. "The World’s End" (Armageddets)

"Armageddets" – grand final of the trilogy "Three tastes of Cornetto". A purely British comedy about a group of friends conquering the Golden Mile – 10 pubs in which they should drink. You think nothing will hurt them? Ha ha.

11. "Ant-man" (man-man)
Wright was originally appointed to the director, but soon left him because of his creative disagreements with the studio. Only the script remained from Edgar, but, as for me, it was enough to pull out the film. By the way, "Man-man" not very similar to a typical film from Marvel. There is more comedy, less drama, more inventive action. The plot tells us about Scott Langa, the second man-murmur. His wife threw him and he set off in all serious. After leaving prison, he decides to tie up with theft for his daughter, but this does not last long. Together with the old partners, he steals a suit at the first man-one Hank Pima.
I repeat, the film is not bad. Can brighten up your evening, even for viewing with your family is suitable. But is it worth watching this to every fan of Wright? See if you are a fan and Wright, and Marvel.
